Patricia Sciandra is a native of Western New York where she has spent the greater part of her life involved in both local and national artistic endeavors. Patricia attended the State University of New York at Buffalo studying art and ultimately earning her degree in education. As a professional artist, Patricia has utilized her education teaching drawing, pastel, and oil painting. Patricia has found participation in workshops to be a great source of enjoyment both as facilitator/teacher and as a student of major artists. Patricia's work is displayed in several collections across the country. Her work has been presented in solo shows and frequently exhibited through organizations with which she is affiliated. Patricia is a member of the Buffalo Niagara Art Association, the Buffalo Society of Artists, the Chicago Pastel Painters, the Degas Pastel Society, and the Pastel Society of New Mexico.
